A Luxurious, Ground-Up Villa with Classic Touches.
This project involves the ground-up construction of a 4,000 sq ft villa in Mexico City. We designed every element of this home, from the blueprints to the interior architectural details and lighting, with a classic touch and luxurious finishes.
This architectural home exemplifies timeless design, with every surface crafted to incorporate classic interior details that enhance everyday living. The aim was to create a residence that exudes luxury through its architecture while serving as a canvas for furnishings. This is reflected in the intricate ceiling design, layered lighting controls, Roman-style columns, flooring design, and the grand staircase.
We selected Carrara marble for all the flooring and designed a granite floral motif in the atrium. To add dimension, we created a custom skylight that floods the space with natural light and reinterprets the floral motif with softer edges. To further enhance the grandeur of the home, we extended the same marble finishes to the staircase and designed a custom iron railing with intricate organic forms. No expense or design detail was spared to elevate this home. The final result resembles a gallery, where the interior details serve as art and the classic elements harmonize with modern living.
